Gondwana University for Gadchiroli and Chandrapur region

Since it was becoming difficult to handle the hundreds of colleges from all over region of Nagpur University , Govt has now decided to have separate University for the Gadchiroli and Chandrapur region. So surely that will share the burden of RTM Nagpur University.

Initially SGB Amravati University was also part of Nagpur University , In 1983 Amravati University was created and region wise it is bigger than parent university. The proposal of Gondwana University was kept by MLA Sudhir Mungantiwar in an assembly session in 2007. After all analysis and feasibility the Govt has finally decided to have separate Gondwana University.The newly formed  Gondwana University might  get 25-30 departments, sports complexes, play grounds,hostels, guest houses,  auditoriums, etc.

Day by day too many new colleges are opening all around India to cop up with the students strength so I think its welcome decision. What you guys say? You can comment here below to share your views on Gondwana University

    Since Government decided to open the university, many people do not know the exact process of formation. How varies bodies are to be formed etc. All related information be provided to people in genral and atleast to the lecturers working in the two districts.

        It will best job of education ministry if there is separate university for students of developing district i.e. gadchiroli & chandrapur.
