Andhra Bank was established in 28 November 1923.Andhra Bank is having 1371 branches, 66 Extension Counters, 38 Satellite Offices and 664 ATMs spread over 21 States and 2 Union Territories as at the end of June, 2008.Andhra Bank-AB is going to recruit for various post such as Clerk cadre and Probationary officer(PO).

Clerks having 1000 Posts
What will be age criteria for Clerk?
Minimum age limitation will be 18 year and maximum age limitation will be 28 year.There will be age relaxation 5 year for SC/ST and 3 year for OBC.
What will be tentative pay scale?
Expected salary will be Rs. 7200 – 19300/-
Educational qualification:
Twelfth or bachelor degree with first class and read,write & speak regional language(i.e. state language) for which candidate apply.Application amount including postage charge will be Rs 250/- for OBC/Open and Rs 75/- for SC/ST/PWD

Probationary Officers having 450 Posts
What will be age condition?
Age boundary for PO post will be 21 to 30 year.There will be age relaxation 5 year for SC/ST and 3 year for OBC.
What will be pay scale?
As per notification,salary will be Rs. 7200 – 19300/-
Minimum educational criteria for PO post-Bachelor degree with 60% or equivalent CGPA from any University reputed by UGC
Application amount including postage charge will be Rs 400/- for OBC/Open and Rs 75/- for SC/ST/PWD

Important dates:
Online application submission valid period of 25th January 2011 to 22nd February 2011
Date of written test for Probationary Officers will be 08th May 2011
Date of written test for Clerks will be 15.05.2011

Written test will be of objective type question having 200 question and Descriptive paper of 100 mark.For PO subject are General awareness,English,Numerical test and test of reasoning.For Clerk subject are clerical aptitude,English,Numerical test and test of reasoning
